Lufthansa CEO Sees North Atlantic Travel Rebounding Into 2026

Deutsche Lufthansa AG’s chief executive officer believes that soft demand for transatlantic travel has reached its trough, offering an optimistic outlook for its most profitable route.
“We can assume that we have seen the low point and are looking ahead to the fourth quarter and 2026 with considerable optimism,” Carsten Spohr told reporters in a call. “The first bookings, including those for 2026, look very encouraging.”
