Trump Says He Won’t Meet With Kim Jong Un During Asia Trip

US President Donald Trump said he didn’t expect to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his trip through Asia, despite previously suggesting he was open to coordinating a summit.

“We really weren’t able to work out timing,” Trump said Wednesday in South Korea, a day before he’s slated to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping. “We have President Xi is coming tomorrow, and was that was something that obviously is very important to the world, to all of us.”
