Equinor Expects Closer Ties With Orsted on Positive Wind Outlook

Equinor ASA Chief Executive Officer Anders Opedal doubled down on his support for Danish wind developer Orsted A/S, saying stronger ties would benefit investors in both energy firms.

“Closer collaboration between Orsted and Equinor can unlock values for shareholders in both companies,” Opedal said in a Bloomberg Television interview on Wednesday. “We want to be a more active owner,” he said later at a press briefing, without elaborating.
