Chad Seeks Backers for $30 Billion Five-Year Development Plan
Chad is inviting investors and donors to Abu Dhabi as the West African nation seeks financing for a $30 billion plan to develop trade corridors, critical-minerals mines and agricultural projects.
The UAE-Chad Trade & Investment Forum, scheduled for Nov. 10, aims to tap growing Persian Gulf investments in Africa and attract private investment into Chad’s hydrocarbons and mining sector, part of the country’s 2030 development plan.
