Alaska Air Websites Hit by Microsoft Outage, Adding to IT Woes

A global outage of Microsoft Corp.’s Azure cloud service is impacting operations of Alaska Air Group Inc., less than a week after the carrier canceled flights due to a data system failure.

The technology issue is disrupting key systems, including the websites of Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines, according to a statement.
