SoFi CEO Says Moving Beyond Lending Helped Drive Record Quarter

SoFi Technologies Inc. is seeing its expansion in customer services beyond lending showing up in earnings, helping drive record results in the third quarter, Chief Executive Officer Anthony Noto said.

“It’s really the direct result of the foundation that we’ve build over the last eight years to have this diverse set of products that are all now firing together to deliver durable growth and really strong profitability,” Noto said in a Bloomberg Television interview Tuesday. “Our business continues to diversify into products outside of lending — 56% of our revenue was from the non-lending segments, and that was up quite meaningfully.”
