Yale, Princeton Post 11% Returns as Schools Face New Tax

The endowments of Princeton University and Yale University each returned about 11% in the 12 months through June at a time of heightened tensions between major US colleges and President Donald Trump’s administration.

Yale’s fund returned 11% and increased to $44.1 billion, while Princeton’s endowment posted a gain of 11% and is now valued at $36.4 billion, the schools said in separate announcements Friday.
