Unilever Sales Lifted by Strong Consumer Demand in North America
Unilever Plc third-quarter sales rose more than expected, driven by strong demand in developed markets, particularly North America, in a boost to the company’s turnaround plan.
The maker of Hellmann’s mayonnaise said Thursday that underlying sales grew 3.9% from a year earlier, slightly above analyst estimates of 3.7%. Volumes grew by 1.5% during the period.
