The Houthis have freed a number of foreign United Nations employees who had been detained last weekend after the militant group stormed a compound in the Yemeni capital.

Of the 15 international staff members that the Houthis had forcibly confined to a UN compound in Sana’a, 12 have left on a UN flight, the global organization announced Wednesday.
