Gold Miners Plummet After Bullion Falls Most Since 2013

Shares of gold miners plummeted after the price of bullion fell the most in more than a decade.

Top gold producers Barrick Mining Corp., Newmont Corp. and Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. all fell by more than 8% on Tuesday morning. The VanEck Gold Miners ETF, which tracks the biggest producers across the industry, dropped to 9.5%, the worst performance since March 2020.
