Mongolia’s parliament voted to dismiss Prime Minister Zandanshatar Gombojav after just four months in office, in a surprise shake-up within the ranks of the ruling party.

Zandanshatar lost his confidence ballot in the legislature on Friday, with 71 out of 126 lawmakers voting against retaining him as the government’s leader.
