BOE’s Greene Says Workers’ Bargaining Power Is Fading

Bank of England rate-setter Megan Greene said workers will be less able to boost their wages to compensate for a fresh spike in inflation.

Greene said on Friday that that the labor market is “weakening” and that is hurting the bargaining power of workers.
