Invasive Plants Bond, Biodiversity Fund Mulled for South Africa

Some of the world’s leading conservation nonprofits are exploring a bond tied to the rate of clearing invasive vegetation and a sustainable fund to protect more of South Africa’s wild areas.
The initiatives are part of the country and the South African National Parks’ drive to find new ways to fund biodiversity protection and attract more donors and investors.
