Imax Poised to Pounce With Buyback If Market Sours on Hollywood

Imax Corp.’s Chief Financial Officer Natasha Fernandes sees an opportunity to buy back shares at an attractive price in the event of a broader selloff in the entertainment industry.

If there’s “a change in any political environment or something on the Hollywood side and you get an immediate dip in the stock price, we have approval on the share repurchase side that you can then just go ahead and make the investment,” Fernandes said in an interview on Bloomberg Chief Future Officer.
