Stellantis Move Puts Thousands of Canada Auto Jobs in Peril

Stellantis said Tuesday it will halt plans to manufacture the vehicle at its Brampton, Ontario, plant as part of a $13-billion investment strategy to bolster its US business and dodge tariff costs. The automaker will produce the Compass in Belvidere, Illinois.
