NYC’s Mamdani Declines to Say Whether Hamas Should Disarm

Zohran Mamdani, the frontrunner for mayor of New York City, declined to say whether Hamas should lay down its weapons in an interview with Fox News.

Hamas, designated a terrorist organization by the US and European Union, is in a fragile US-led ceasefire with Israel following a two-year conflict that’s largely destroyed Gaza and triggered a hunger crisis.
