The European Union will propose launching joint drone and air defense projects in the coming months as part of an ambitious five-year plan to rearm the continent and constrain Russia, according to a document seen by Bloomberg News.

By the end of 2027, the plan wants the EU doing 40% of its defense procurement jointly, more than double the current rate.
