CEPU Signs MoU to Help Power OpenAI-Backed Argentine Data Center

Central Puerto SA, a top power producer in Argentina, signed a memorandum of understanding to help power a proposed $25 billion data center in the South American country.

The memorandum is a first step in inking a formal agreement for CEPU, as the generator is known, to supply renewable energy to the data center, project leader Sur Energy wrote in a statement Tuesday.
