SpaceX Replicates Starship Launch Success as US Races to Moon
SpaceX’s Starship deployed test satellites in space and returned to Earth largely intact, repeating earlier milestones critical to Elon Musk’s goal of readying the vehicle for regular launches to orbit and beyond.
The rocket, billed as the largest and most powerful ever built, thundered off the launchpad at SpaceX’s Starbase launch facility in south Texas at 6:24 p.m. local time on Monday.
