Rwanda May Seek New Program From IMF Next Year
Rwanda may seek another non-funded program from the International Monetary Fund after the current one ends, its Finance Ministry said.
Rwanda reached a staff-level agreement with the IMF on the sixth review of its Policy Coordination Instrument on Friday. The nation may request a new one next year, Judith Nabaasa, director general of debt management at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, told Bloomberg at the event announcing the agreement.
