Many Feared Dead, 19 Missing After ‘Devastating’ Tennessee Blast

A powerful explosion ripped through a military munitions manufacturing plant in rural Tennessee on Friday morning, killing multiple people and leaving 19 others missing, authorities said.

The blast occurred about 7:45 a.m. at Accurate Energetic Systems, which produces explosives for the military and aerospace industries. The facility is located about 60 miles southwest of Nashville.
