Entergy Aims to Build More Gas in Wake of Meta’s Big Data Center

Entergy Corp. has applied to connect new natural gas generation to the grid in Louisiana to meet increasing demand from new data centers and industrial projects in the state.
The request is in addition to the three gas plants the utility recently won approval to build in order to power a massive data center for Meta Platforms Inc. Entergy confirmed the move in a response to questions from Bloomberg News.
