Salesforce Unveils IT Product, Deepening ServiceNow Rivalry

Salesforce Inc. is launching a product for information technology management, moving into a new area for the company’s software and deepening its competition with ServiceNow Inc.

The tool will prioritize solving IT requests, such as issuing a laptop to a new employee, automatically with artificial intelligence agents, Salesforce said Thursday. Workers will be able to use common business apps like Slack or Microsoft Corp.’s Teams to interact with the program.
