What Is NATO’s Planned Drone Wall? How Would It Work?

Incursions of unpiloted Russian aircraft have caused alarm across European capitals in recent monthsBloomberg Terminal, and NATO allies are now talking about building a “drone wall” to protect their skies.

The concept has yet to be fully defined, but the dangers it’s meant to thwart are real. In September, Russian drones were reported in Poland and Romania, while unidentified, smaller craft were seen flitting around Danish airports.
