BlackRock Says Europe Among ‘Most Compelling’ Credit Bets

BlackRock Inc. says European corporate bonds stand out as one of the most compelling opportunities in global credit, with yields near 3% offering a rare source of relatively safe income.

“Companies still look in quite good shape overall,” said James Turner, the firm’s co-head of global fixed income in EMEA. “There’s not many opportunities to find relatively safe yield at the moment.”
