Saab Shunned by Analysts After Stock's Stellar Run in Defense Frenzy

Analysts are singling out Saab AB’s stock as a riskier bet than other European defense companies after a year of spectacular gains left no room for anything to go wrong.

Like most peers, Saab shares have soared this year on optimism over the prospect of potentially large increases in military budgets. Yet while analysts remain mostly positive on the likes of Rheinmetall AG and Leonardo SpA, sentiment toward the Swedish maker of Gripen fighter jets has soured.
