French Premier Won’t Use Constitutional Tool to Force Budget Through

French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu said Friday he would not resort to a controversial constitutional tool to force the budget through the National Assembly.

The current “binary” view on major issues facing the country is hindering the government’s ability to move forward, Lecornu said, adding that “ruptures” were needed.
