Oracle Investigating Hacks of Customers’ E-Business Suite

Oracle Corp. is investigating hacks of numerous customers’ E-Business Suite applications following an extortion campaign targeting large organizations, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The company on Thursday told employees that they had discovered exploitation of known flaws in its product, for which it had offered patches in July, according to one of the people.
