French Power Prices Plunge With Nuclear Boost Ahead of Winter

The nation saw its highest nuclear generation for the month since 2018, according to grid operator RTE. There were also windy periods, amid greater renewables capacity. That pulled average day-ahead prices below €36 ($43) a megawatt-hour in Epex Spot SE auctions.
