Apollo Executive Sees Massive Power Demand Steering Capital

The prospect for growth in energy markets represents a “tremendous” opportunity for investors, with private capital uniquely positioned to seize the moment.

That’s according to Olivia Wassenaar, head of sustainability and infrastructure at Apollo Management. Speaking on a panel at Bloomberg’s Women, Money & Power event in London on Wednesday, she talked of a “voracious need for power in many geographies,” for which “private capital is a really great fit.”
