Cryptocurrency billionaire Brock Pierce, who donated more than $1 million to New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s reelection through a super-PAC, is arguing that the embattled politician should stay in the race.

At a Manhattan press conference Tuesday, Pierce called for Adams to change his mind after having ended his campaign over the weekend. Pierce, who co-founded cryptocurrency firm Tether, said he believes in Adams’ vision for New York and that the mayor was unfairly cast as corrupt.
