Reeves Calls Farage ‘Greatest Threat’ in Bid to Rally Labour
UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves said Nigel Farage and his Reform UK is the “single greatest threat” to working people in Britain, as she joined Prime Minister Keir Starmer in turning her fire on the threat of the populist right.
Reeves used her speech at Labour’s annual conference in Liverpool on Monday to make pointed attacks on Reform, warning that they would weaken Britain’s ties with the rest of the world, undermine its National Health Service and risk economic stability. Starmer had the day before said his government is engaged in a battle with Farage for the “soul” of Britain.
