CIBC Names Freeborn, Traboulsi to Head Global Investment Banking

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce appointed Mike Freeborn and Alfred Traboulsi co-heads of global corporate and investment banking.

Freeborn will focus on the bank’s Canada franchise and Traboulsi the US platform, according to an internal memo from Christian Exshaw, who’s set to become head of CIBC’s capital markets unit later this year. A representative for the Toronto-based bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
