Spain was upgraded by Moody’s Ratings and Fitch Ratings, a double-whammy that recognizes the economy’s standout growth performance in the euro area.

Both firms raised their assessments by one step, A3 at Moody’s and A at Fitch, bringing them to the highest level since 2012.
