US asset manager Capital Group Cos. bought a 3% stakeBloomberg Terminal in German utility RWE AG, underscoring investor appetite for clean energy remains despite a shift in America’s political environment.

RWE has become one of the largest renewable energy operators in the US following its 2023 acquisition of Con Edison’s clean energy business. Earlier this year, however, the company cut €10 billion from its planned green technology investments, citing higher project risks, particularly in the US.
