UAE Seeks Deal With Canada to Double Trade, Economy Minister Says

The Gulf country has signed more than two dozen so-called partnership agreements with countries including Malaysia, New Zealand and Kenya, according to the Emirates News Agency. The UAE wants one with Canada in the hope of increasing trade to C$7 billion ($5 billion) from around C$3.5 billion currently, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri said at a conference in Calgary.
