ECB to Be Patient Now Inflation Goal Has Been Met, Kazimir Says

European Central Bank Governing Council member Peter Kazimir said policymakers have met their inflation target and have no need to rush into any more changes in interest rates.

“We can say with some pride that we’ve achieved our goal, and now we need to stay patient and determined, ready to act when the time comes,” the Slovak official said Thursday in Bratislava.
