UK Energy Tech Firm Doubles Its Customer Base With Engie Deal

Ovo Energy Ltd. software spin-out Kaluza Ltd. reached a major deal to work with French utility Engie SA.

The deal with Engie will see the firm more than double the number of customer accounts it has worldwide, adding 20 million, Stephen Fitzpatrick, founder of Kaluza, told Bloomberg. The firm is part of a growing group of energy software companies that provide services to utilities in energy trading, including demand forecasting and customer billing.
