UK day-ahead electricity prices climbed to the highest since June, as a lull in wind-power output coincides with colder weather that’s increasing energy demand.

Day-ahead prices for delivery Tuesday rose to £90.41 a megawatt-hour in an auction on Epex Spot SE. That comes as UK wind generation is forecast to drop the lowest in about a month on Tuesday, averaging 3.5 gigawatts, a Bloomberg model shows.
