Brewer Molson Coors Promotes Goyal to CEO in Push Beyond Beer

Molson Coors Beverage Co. named Rahul Goyal its next chief executive officer, turning to a longtime company insider to help the brewer’s expansion into nonalcoholic offerings amid softening beer demand.

Goyal, 49, will take over on Oct. 1, succeeding Gavin Hattersley, who will retire from the company and its board by Dec. 31. Hattersley, CEO since 2019, will stay on as a special adviser through year-end.
