Conservatives Call for Investigation Into Starmer’s Chief Aide

The UK Conservative Party has called for an investigation into the prime minister’s chief of staff Morgan McSweeney, and the role he may have played in how a Labour think tank handled political donations years ago.

“New information has come to light that raises the question of whether a criminal offence has been committed,” the Tories wrote in a letter addressed to the Electoral Commission, the independent body that oversees elections and regulates political finance in the UK.
