Gymshark Backer General Atlantic Boosts UK Office Footprint

General Atlantic, known for its early bets on companies like Facebook and Uber Technologies Inc., is expanding its London office footprint after boosting its headcount in the city to nearly 200 employees.

The investment firm plans to take 49,601 square feet (4,608 square meters) in Elephant, a mixed-use project on Oxford Street in the West End that’s currently being redeveloped, according to a statement seen by Bloomberg News. It plans to occupy the fifth and sixth floors of the building starting in the second half of 2027.
