Marco Santori, a legal pioneer in the crypto industry, has left the asset manager Pantera Capital to join the digital-asset treasury company gold rush.

Santori has become the chief executive officer of a new company that’s raising $300 million in order to buy and hold Solana, one of the largest cryptocurrencies. The deal will see Nasdaq-listed Brera Holdings Plc renamed as Solmate and is sponsored by Pulsar Group, a United Arab Emirates-based technology and blockchain advisory firm, according to a statement on Thursday.
