Denmark Steps Up Russia Deterrence With Missiles and Drones

The decision to purchase such offensive weapons reflects a “paradigm shift” for Denmark, which has focused on buying defense systems, though the goal remains to avoid war, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Wednesday in a hastily called news conference attended by Denmark’s defense and foreign ministers.
