Majority of Countries Yet to Secure Accommodations for COP30 in Brazil

Another 70 nations are still negotiating lodging, the government said in a statement after meeting with the UN climate body. Officials have credited an increase in confirmations in recent weeks to a task force set up to handle country-by-country accommodation demands, particularly for delegations facing greater hurdles.
