The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority is recalibrating its private equity strategy to capture growth in secondaries, even as the broader industry grapples with sluggish exits and tighter fundraising.
ADIA’s private equity arm deployed “substantial capital” alongside general partners into attractively priced limited partner portfolios, according to its 2024 annual review published Wednesday. Take-privates and carve-outs were a key source of deal flow, it said.
