MNT-Halan, Lean Technologies Seek to Boost Credit Access in UAE

MNT-Halan’s United Arab Emirates unit is partnering with financial infrastructure provider Lean Technologies on an initiative that seeks to expand credit access for small businesses and individuals in the Gulf nation.

Under the deal signed Tuesday, Halan UAE, a unit of the Cairo-based fintech firm, will gain access to consenting customers’ bank statement data collected through Lean’s open-banking technology.
