Carney to Unveil Budget Nov. 4 With ‘Substantial’ Deficit

Canada’s government will release its federal budget on Nov. 4, Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne told Parliament on Tuesday in Ottawa.

The long-anticipated fiscal plan will put a price tag on Prime Minister Mark Carney’s plans to boost the country’s expenditures on defense, housing and infrastructure.
