Denmark Turns to Europe for Record $9.1 Billion Defense Deal

The government in Copenhagen agreed with opposition parties on Friday to order missiles worth 58 billion kroner ($9.1 billion), saying it will choose between systems produced by companies in France, Italy, Norway and Germany. The latest investment is part of Denmark’s plan to boost its firepower to counter an escalation in security threats from Russia.
