Legence Corp. shares rose 8.9% after the engineering company raised $728 million in its US listing.

Shares of the Blackstone Inc.-backed firm closed at $30.50 in New York after a volatile trading session where they opened below the IPO price of $28 each. The company sold 26 million shares after pricing them within the marketed range of $25 to $29 each.
